Quality requirements

The fulfilment of the requirements of our customers is the highest criterion in cooperation with our suppliers. Our defined quality target is based on a "zero-defect quality" in combination with an absolute reliability in delivery.

We expect from our suppliers to formulate, implement and maintain a business model focusing on the above mentioned goals.

Further requirements for the quality management of our suppliers:

• Quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and advancement to IATF 16949 or a comparable system (depending upon the operational area absolutely necessary)
• To impose an obligation on previous vendors to work after these guidelines accordingly
• Willingness to the conclusion of a quality assurance agreement
  
  

SUMIDA additional committed itself to the protection of the environment and natural resources  and optimization of energy efficiency. We are certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001 and DIN EN ISO 50001.

Requirements for the environmental and energy management of our suppliers:

• Certified energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001
• Certified environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001

Furthermore you agree with adherence to laws in terms of safety and environmental regulations.
