SUMIDA CORPORATION would like to announce that the Nomination Committee resolved the following six (6) candidates for the Board of Directors. The membership as director will take effect subject to the approval of shareholders at the coming 63rd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for March 25th, 2018.

Messrs. Johji Sato, Pak Hong Auyang, Yukihiro Moroe, Atsushi Kato and Michael Mühlbayer are candidates as outside directors. After the election as outside directors at the coming 63rd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, they will be registered as independent directors pursuant to the regulations of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
