As informed in the Press Release on January 23, 2009, we SUMIDA CORPORATION have initiated the delisting of our German subsidiary VOGT electronic AG (“VOGT”) from Frankfurt and Munich Stock Exchanges. This time, we would like to inform you of the effective delisting day which was confirmed by these Stock Exchanges.
Effective Delisting Day (Final Stock Transaction Day): August 4, 2009
The delisting from Frankfurt and Munich Stock Exchanges was 97.43% approved at the extraordinary general shareholders’ meeting held on March 19, 2009. The impact on Sumida’s consolidated business results is expected to be immaterial.
