We would like to inform of the impact of the recent floods in Thailand on our business activity.
- Situation
SUMIDA CORPORATION’s wholly-owned subsidiary, SUMIDA ELECTRIC (THAILAND) CO., LTD., located in Bangkadi Industrial Park in Pathumutani, Thailand, was confirmed flooded inside the factory and was urged by the local authority to suspend operations for the safety of employees. Fortunately, we have not so far received a report of any human casualty. The machinery has been moved to upper floors to escape damage. However, it is quite difficult to get an entire picture of the damage as we are unable to enter the plant premises. At this moment, it is not known exactly when the plant operations can be resumed. - Brief summary of the subsidiary in Thailand
