SUMIDA CORPORATION (“SUMIDA”) announces that it has completed the merger of two wholly owned subsidiaries, Pontiac Coil Inc. and Sumida America Components Inc.
SUMIDA CORPORATION (“Sumida”) would like to announce that factory capacity in Quang Ngai, Vietnam will be expanded. This expansion is one of the manufacturing strategies for the New Mid-term Business Plan 2021 – 2023. Through this expansion, Sumida aims to meet the needs of the customers who require a stable supply chain with geographical alternatives in terms of manufacturing sites. After completing this expansion, our production capacity in Quang Ngai will be up to three times larger than now.
