SUMIDA CORPORATION has developed a Piezoelectric ultrasonic motor that realizes low-voltage drive. The dimensions of the motor unit are 40mm×40mm×20mm.It achieved under 7.0V drive with ultrasonic motors by applying the non-conventional vibration mode which enables low input impedance. It drives the slider (load) directory with slow-speed and high thrust without generating electromagnetic noises. The converse effect of the moving direction can be generated by switching a single signal drive.
