SUMIDA CORPORATION hereby announces that, subject to the resolution taken up at
the Board of Director’s meeting and the Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders of
our 100% owned subsidiary, Sumida Corporate Service Incorporated, the company
will appoint a new director and implement personnel change of representative which
will take effect on 1st June 2006.

This is to provide notification that SUMUDA CORPORATION has resolved the election of candidates for members of the Board of Directors in a recent Board of Directors meeting based on decision of Nomination Committee. The final decision on membership will be made at the Annual Shareholders Meeting (18 March 2006).
